Donald Trump Becomes 47th US President

Donald Trump has been elected as the 47th president of the United States. This is a fantastic comeback for a former president who refused to accept loss four years ago, led a violent uprising at the U.S. Capitol, was convicted of felonies, and survived two attempts on his life.

After being named the winner in North Carolina, Donald Trump picked up his first swing state. He was president from 2017 to 2021.

He won Georgia back, a state he almost lost to Joe Biden in 2020. It took him about an hour to be named the winner.

Soon after, he was seen as the clear winner in Pennsylvania, which was seen as the most important of the seven swing states.

Donald Trump‘s success was confirmed when he won Wisconsin, giving him more than 270 electoral college votes. He is still on track to win all seven swing states.

Donald Trump Becomes US 47th President

Early on Wednesday, Ms. Harris’s staff member, Cedric Richmond, said she wouldn’t speak until later because it looked like she wouldn’t be able to win and would likely lose. People who supported her thought she would give a historic win speech at Howard University in Washington, DC. Instead, rain covers were seen covering the podium.

In the meantime, Donald Trump went to Palm Beach, Florida, to tell a crowd of his fans that he had won the election hours before the official results were made public.
